With this spool it is recommended that a standard 100 foot double tapered fly line be purchased and cut in half to create 2 duplicate 50 foot lengths of weight forward fly line.

Our spool can accomodate 50 feet of any fly lines on the lighter side (2-5 wt) and approximately 40 feet of any fly line on the heavier side (6+ wt).

Add your preferred leader/tippet and enjoy your time fishing.

Our product is subject to color change. Your spool will eventually gain a petina that reflects your personal use. If you prefer a shiny spool, a once over with a light scouring pad followed by a light coat of finishing wax is recommended.
